Vera is 6!

Our Vera girl turned 6 on April 8th. This girl is smart (especially with numbers), artistic, active (catching lizards, running), and helpful. She had lots of celebrations this year!
Family got together to celebrate Vera and Patrick's birthdays last week.
Then we got to go to the beach for Spring Break, where we celebrated everyone with recent birthdays (Vera shares a birthday with one of her cousins!).
And last but not least she had a few of her closest friends (and her brothers) come for an art party of painting, crafts, running around the yard, and cake with tea.
She asked for a "color cake" with rings of colored frosting. She chose lemon cake as well as lemon bars.
And they whacked a colorful piƱata. FYI- kids are NOT excited about crayons as prizes... Can't fool them by trying to have less candy.

  1. Yay for Vera and another wonderful birthday and year! Anna, the cake is SO precious, and I just love the picture of the table outside with cake, superhero mugs, tea pot and the best part- the kids playing in the background. What a dream bday for the little lady!
