The kids have been begging to go to a pumpkin patch, so last weekend we headed to Southern Belle Farm. They have what I like to call a "real pumpkin patch," where you can actually pick a growing pumpkin. This was nice since the pumpkins in my garden failed miserably this year (yes, I totally neglected them... better luck next year).
There was so much to do! We could hardly fit it all in.
The tractor train was pretty awesome.
We all saw our first ever pig race. It was surprisingly entertaining, and the pigs were surprisingly fast. The race included a swim across a trough of water.
William enjoyed using a water pump to make ducks float down a pipe. Vera's favorite thing was the jumping pillow.
We all enjoyed our first ever corn maze.
We definitely hope to return next year!
Below are our pumpkins!
We have a rocket-ship with alien, a scary face (middle pumpkin- William drew it), and a small cat.
Batman and an adorable cat enjoyed lighting the jack-o-lanterns and trick-or-treating with friends for Halloween.
Hope you had a safe and Happy Halloween.
