Patrick is 8!

Patrick is enjoying being an 8 year old.

This boy is always up for whatever adventure we are on. He hikes, he climbs, he swings from vines!

This photo is from a visit with "Papa," my dad. Patrick has a special place in his heart for Papa.

Patrick enjoys imagining and creating with his younger brother, Daniel. 

These two are great buds and roommates.

Patrick is a creative kid, always making something... from a homemade ski-ball game to forts. He is strong, friendly, and outgoing. On our trip to the beach, he befriended an old woman who was collecting shells for her yard. He spent about an hour helping her dig up shells and sharing stories about their lives. He is like that! He makes quick friends and makes them feel seen and loved.

Patrick loves his patron saint, St. Patrick of Ireland, so he asked for shamrocks on his birthday cake. For his birthday, Daddy built him a warped wall in the backyard so he can train to be on America Ninja Warrior someday (hopefully!). Next will be a peg wall to climb.
