Our chicks are here!
They arrived early last week and have settled into their new home.
The kids have a lot of fun with the chicks and are learning to be "gentle."
For those interested in chicken breeds, we got:
4 white leghorns (white eggs)
1 Black Copper Maran (chocolate brown eggs)
1 Cuckoo Maran (chocolate brown eggs)
1 Blue Splash Maran (chocolate brown eggs)
1 Wellsummer (light brown eggs)
8 chicks total, to eventually add to our current 7 chickens.

In just 5 days they are already starting to get wing feathers!
