Flowers

Here are some of Winter Farm's Summer flowers:
Red Hot Poker - one of my favorite flowers.  It grows by the pond, and the hummingbirds love it too.

Here is Vera identifying the flowers in this early summer arrangement... and then negotiating food with her brother in the second half.
I enjoy making bouquets with our flowers, so I took pictures to share (and showing my bouquets means that I don't have to show you all our weeds! because our flower garden often looks more like a weed garden).
Coneflower, monkey-grass flowers, oregano, and some purple plant that grows like a weed around our bird bath.  Arranged in my favorite vase that Justin and I bought from an artist in Toledo, Spain.

Stargazer lily, dusty miller, black-eyed susan, cone flower, zinnia, monkey-grass flower, ornamental grass flowers.

Willow Hydrangea - This bush is one of the glories of our yard.

Willow Hydrangea - A sure way to turn a casual space into something regal.

Zinnias - One of my favorite flowers.  So easy to grow and use in cut arrangements.  My very first screen name back when I was a teenager was zinnia321 :)

Zinnia, black-eyed susan, cone flower, sedum, bee balm
