From Red Neck to Refined

WE GOT A GARAGE DOOR!!!
You may recall that I recently hung curtains to make a garage door.  It was a desperate attempt to keep our chickens out of our door-less garage (aka carport), because every single time we had to step out the door it was always, "Watch out for chicken poop!"  The curtains sorta worked for a little while, but Little Blackie (the chicken who thinks she is a dog), figured them out and came in anyways.  Finally, I got a little embarrassed about them and took them down.  So, we saved up, and we just got a new garage door! And I'm so excited! And I scrubbed the disgusting floor today! And now we don't have to worry about chicken poop! And leaves won't blow in during the Fall! And... might I add... it looks a bit better than the curtains.  From red neck to refined :).

The door color/style matches our windows :).

Yay! Now guests will need to brave the bridge across our pond to the front door a bit more often... just don't fall in.

  1. Yay! From the first picture, it looks like heaven is shining down illuminating this glorious new addition. I can hear angels singing the Hallelujah chorus in the background. :)
