Silas is turning 4! (the 29th but we celebrated this weekend) Here he is with his QT cup.
(Backstory: He was born in the car across the street from the QT, so we have baby pictures and yearly pictures with this cup! click here to see last year's interview and pictures)
Silas is imaginative and creative. He is nearly always building something, whether with LEGOs in his room or with sticks on the sidewalk as we wait for big brother to finish karate class. He constructs suits of armor from aluminum foil and sculptures from straws and napkins.
Silas is loud and clear when things aren't going his way (ex.- "PATRICK KNOCKED DOWN MY TOWER AGAIN!!!! NOOOOO!!!"). He likes to call us into his room multiple times a night because "Daddy, I forgot something, eh, I need something... um, Daddy, Daddy, I love you!" and then "Mommy, you forgot to say 'I love you to the moon and back.'" He is funny and enthusiastic.
Silas decided he wanted a party with superheroes, LEGOs, and costumes.
Our living room got covered in a big red Spiderman web!
His costume changed at least 4 times during his party!

Birthday Boy Silas!
Silas didn't want to wait to the end of the Happy Birthday song to blow out his candles :), so they were expired halfway through our singing. His costume changed at least 4 times during his party!
Grancy, Great Grandma, and Spiderman (Silas).
Silas was extremely excited about opening his gifts. After each one he would make some sort of exclamation, "WOW! This is totally AWESOME! It's just what I wanted!!!" Then he would grab the gift and tromp upstairs to his room to start playing with it while we called out "Come back! There are more!" He carried on like this after each gift. The above picture shows how we would laugh as he stole away to revel in his new treasure... usually while singing out "dum di di daaaahhh dum!" superhero songs.
