Daniel Lazarus turned 1

Our family visited the Wright Brothers Memorial on the day Daniel Lazarus turned one. (Oct. 9th... which was a while ago... but Daniel is a busy boy so I haven't been able to sit much to write!)
Daniel was a super trooper throughout our adventurous roadtrip up the East coast.
This little guy makes his siblings laugh and oh, how they adore him.
He loves broccoli but hates sweet potatoes.  He runs and climbs.  He hits (yikes!) and thinks it is funny.  He snuggles and wants his mommy.
Here he is exploring a grate! ha!  It is fun watching little people discover the world when everything is new.
We planted a weeping willow in the front yard for Daniel.  I very much hope it grows big enough for us to sit and picnic under it.  Daniel enjoyed playing in the dirt.
This kid is a trooper about going along for the ride.  Siblings have to get to soccer practices and karate, errands have to get done, and sometimes he is snatched from a nap; he takes it well.
But he also has a strong will and lets you know when he isn't pleased.
If someone goes upstairs he gets quite upset he can't go, and the same is true for outside.
These photos were his 1-year-old pictures I took... and it wasn't easy (in this one a sibling threw a paper airplane).
There is his toothy grin!
This little guy brings us lots of love.
