My cousin Lilly's wedding was July 25th. I was 10 years old when she was born, and she has always been like a sister to me, so this day was extra special for me to witness. My little Lilly is all grown up!
Our kids were in the wedding, so the festivities started the night before.
The rehearsal dinner sported some amazing M&Ms with Lilly and Josh's picture on them. Cute and delicious :-)
The rehearsal involved lots and lots of flower petals to collect and throw, collect and throw, collect and throw…which equals a lot of fun for this little gal.
The morning of the wedding our kids got to get their jitters out in this fun fountain in Savannah, Georgia. Here is the most beautiful flower girl (Vera), the tough and rough ring security guard (Silas), and the handsome and mature ring bearer (William). I had been looking forward to seeing all these beautiful children of mine dressed up for the wedding, and it proved to be an adorable sight.
What a looker!
And here is Josh and Lilly! They met at art school in Savannah, and are on their way to live in Chicago after their honeymoon tour of Europe.
The minute after Lilly and Josh walked down the aisle as husband and wife, Silas collapsed on the pew and fell asleep. It was a busy day for these little people.
Lilly with our Grandma. You could feel Lilly's excitement and happiness exude from her during the ceremony through her giddy laugh and teary smiles.
Josh is an excellent painter, so he added a little bit of wedding creativity and fun to these cornhole boards.
The kids really enjoyed these, outdoor sized Jenga, ring toss, and thoughtful kid goody bags.
Congratulations to my dear cousin, and welcome to the family Josh! This is a beautiful, fun, creative couple. God grant them many years!
