How To

Here's the "how to" on making bunkbeds… But please don't follow my instructions :-)
First you dream up what you want and cut boards to frame a STRONG bed (no top bunks falling on the bottom ones you know).

Next you add some more support beams and drape a few children on the frame just to make sure it is strong.

Save the husband some time by drawing out the façade. Cut it out and attach to the frame.

Build yourself a super cool slide and let the kids test it out. You can test it out too but watch out, it might be a fast slide that jolts your aging body and send you to the chiropractor.
Build a ladder so the kids can climb up into bed without having to use a chair. Put in some bookshelves.
Paint the bunkbed while the baby is sleeping. Voilà! Wasn't that easy?

  1. This is so cool!!! I have no idea how you do all the stuff you do- both how you know HOW to make it AND how you have the time/energy. I think you have more hours in your day than the rest of us. ;) looks great and so fun!
